Somehow I can't fathom the notion that a million or two noob ankle biters fueled by "stimmy" checks from the government... can "raid" stock victims holding substantial shorts.... and force the big players to knuckle under.

Could be it's the "opportunity of a lifetime... and nobody can do anything about it". Or, maybe it will be like the Hunt brothers trying to corner the silver market years ago.... lead to their bankruptcy, in case anyone forgot.

Also recall... the Duke brothers trying to corner the FCOJ market... and you know what happened to them! :)

Hedgefunds who short now will now create traps
They might have big public disclosures about how much they are short while having hidden derivatives net long

What will happen in the end is that a few Redditors will strike it rich, the overwhelming majority will be wiped out. But for now, there's probably still enough money being stuffed in at the bottom that we're going to see more of these meme raids for a long time to come.

The evolution of markets and price action driven by the competition/arms race for profits seems likely to be turbo-charged.

The Reddit and WSB insider guys are in a great position. They can buy certain stocks... then tell their followers to "pile in" to initiate short squeeze.... and it may not even be illegal!!

Might run for longer than we could imagine... unless the revenooers decide to intervene.

I agree and someone made a post recently claiming this is just the beginning of the bubble...after giving it some thought i have to agree. Social media will be exploited to massively run up several companies before it all...goes...pop.

So many are so desperate to make money though man...it’s ok though I suppose...experience is the teacher of all things as they say.
