Taking losers quickly is a smart strategy. However, it will only provide successful results if you are a very active futures trader!! You cannot make 1-10 trades a day with a three tick stop and expect to be successful. You would have to make 25-150 trades a day for this strategy to be successful. To trade this actively you would have to keep your costs low by leasing or buying a seat at the exchange.
If you are going to trade on a retail cost structure expect retail results!!!
