Thanks grasshopper... but if there is one thing that most of the writers on this subject lament, it is the fact that history and religion have totally ignored these concepts and failed the people in doing so... which makes your contention that it could have been had from those sources all the more ridiculous... and trust me sport, you don't want to go toe to toe with me on this subject, I was studying it when you were just an unfortunate squirt down your mothers thigh
LOL again! Strangely enough you might find I have a very thorough knowledge and actually would enjoy a discussion rather than a dull confrontation. I have no idea how old you are but I'm in my 40's and have invested a fair amount of time in studying this and other topics along the same line. Again you might find if you have taken the time to do some in depth study in theology that the ideas are present although sometimes more abstract, nonetheless there. Along the same lines it's not history that ignores the material and concepts its the people studying them and for the most part their desire to get a good grade instead of studying to learn and grow from the material. I freely agree that some of that is ther result of education systems and the junk in junk out mentality, but that maybe where I benefited from parents who didn't let me get off that easy. Don't tell them that, I still let em think they were mean parents.
Just kiddingAgain the point to me is that a person eventually finds the ideas and learns how to apply them in their life. I admit I'm still working at it, and I fall to the side of the road on occasion, but that is part of life also.
Take care
