There is no "secret" to day trading. It's exactly the same as other trading... only shorter time frames.

There are the exact same number of "advancing" and "declining" phases for any market over any time frame. Only diff is the magnitude.

What do you do with that info?

It's true, only that the short-term trend is more random.
You have to be quicker to open it when you have to open it and close it when you have to close it.

I think if a trader can take more of the range out of the market that it is willing to give directionally (one trade vs many smaller trades in the same amount of time) then that trader is a wizard!
