The activist for atheism, like all other left wing activists, simply want to insult and run their mouths. Give us another lecture oh self appointed intellectual.
Enter a reasonable discussion about creation and the thread dies just like the one over the weekend. How many times do you need to make your snarky remarks about those who believe in a God? Everyone gets it, you don't believe in God. If this is all you have to offer on the subject of creation, you've made your point.
Let me start by apologizing to you for being so in-your-face. The reason I started this thread was because of jem's remark in this thread:The activist for atheism, like all other left wing activists, simply want to insult and run their mouths. Give us another lecture oh self appointed intellectual.

Okay. Thanks for the explanation.Let me start by apologizing to you for being so in-your-face. The reason I started this thread was because of jem's remark in this thread:

Something about my not "getting it" in connection with the importance of instilling morality in children with religion. Apparently, according to him there is no morality without a god (to be afraid of). Please take a moment to read my post in that thread. And since jem is the resident "ID scientist," who buys into all things bible and religion, I saw no reason not to simply put his ultimate belief of a heavenly kingdom on the table under the scrutiny of clear light with no shadows. It reads like a fairy tale ending doesn't it? And yet he swallows it whole, as do others who crap on generations of scientists who have devoted their entire lives to the study of the universe, life and their origin. All dismissed with what amounts to the ending of a fairy tale.
Just so you know, moments after I first started this thread, I had second thoughts and asked that it be deleted, for the very reason you mentioned. But my request has evidently been ignored.
