Haven’t said don’t wear a mask. Im just being real about the reason why..... it doesn’t really keep you from getting infected, it helps to cut down the crap you breathe out.

Wrong. Cloth and disposable mask reduce your respiratory particles being thrown out, but they do little in keeping you from breathing in the virus. Distancing much more effective, washing hands yes.

It all helps, but the only way to actually keep yourself safe, if that’s your aim, is stay away from people.

What we do know for a fact is about 98.5% of the population will have nothing more than cold or flu symptoms at worse.

Just a lot of false info being said tonight about the real reason for wearing masks.

I've posted graphs a few weeks ago that show statistically face mask wearing has been on a steady decline since the summer.

We're now down to about 59% - 60% of the population wearing a face mask without knowing the percentage of them that wears an appropriate face mask nor knowing how many are wearing the face mask properly.

Regardless, we need to be around 90% in all the numbers (face mask wear, properly wearing a face mask and wearing the proper face mask).

Realistically, I don't have faith in a culture to reach such numbers after its been politicized since the beginning of the Pandemic...a mistake that I don't think can be corrected...hopefully I'm wrong that 90% can't be reached.

Face mask wear is a culture thing when its in combo with good contact tracing, social distancing and washing hands.

Maybe I've seen too many people during this Pandemic in public places with poor hygiene but never really cared before prior to the Pandemic. I do care about it now.
