The S&P put in another short term bottom on April 11

I think.... i think .. i may short tommorrow morning.

I know... I know.... i will be getting long after i cover my short...
this mkt didnt retrace at all today.... MOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

It means I think mkt is bullish...( bull makes a Moooo sound).... however i trade based on what i see at the time. I think we get a retracement tommorrow....... and if we do i'll be short on it. Is anyone here set up for a pullback? My thinking is most of u don't even trade 4 a living. Oil is not going to do more than pull back, and then keep going higher, anyone even see natty gas zoom here? its the summer time and nat gas rallies? The dow looks strong here, may even manage a new high from jhonny and jane six pack's buying...I will particpate on both side...Oh and from the newby who says spoo 1370 by the end of the month, i'll sell everything u need at1334! Happy trading!

OK..... whats a pullback to me may not be a pullback to you..... also my average hold time is less than 30 minutes.

If YM pulls back 40 to 50 points tomorrow... i will most likely get ready to go long.

As far as oil....gas.... you are implying that they will be going higher.... and so that is why the stock mkt should also go higher?? huh??

Not that it matters... but if it did.... if one believes energy is bullish... usually means stock mkt will be bearish. But it doesn't matter. What matters is we have oil at all time highs.... Iran telling us to shut up and that they will pursue nuclear power.... Gold and silver at highest level in years.... and yet .... with all this.... Mkt just keeps on Moooing along..... thats bullish!

my point exactly, a 30 minute time frame? please u are not a trader u are a gambler....Anyone longer than a 30 minute time frame please feel free to chirp in, the mkt is looking pretty happy here, tommorrow will be a great indicator, but the et clones come out after a big whopping 2 day rally, I am at least suspicious...It is getting eeerrinngly this ame month 6 years ago..Good luck with you're trading.. if u want to call it that,

All Traders are gamblers. A very short time frame is far less of a gamble than a longer one. Market exposure is risk, the less exposure you have the safer you are. BTW the guys making the huge money are scalping profits after seconds into a trade. If the Duck has an intraday frankenstein strat that gives him an edge then I hope he knocks off T. Boone Pickens as trader of the year.

ok i'll handle this one myself (speaking to me) the big money is made on big moves, do you call the last 2 days a big move? less than 2% a big move? come on guys the mkt can't be that bad for you too say this. I've been trading since 1989, and yes the vols have dropped off huge, but my god, we've got guys tripping over each other to get long here...relax a bit, this is an expiration week (big move come on wends) and now were going str8 up? I hope alot of the more seasoned vets can at least take a little longer than to drop trough and be 200% long. I need to see a bit more to get that big a boner. Happy Trading!

rennick I beg to differ, the big money is not made on the small moves, the big money is made at this point at selling the high end and buying at the low end. those moves take a bit longer than 1/2 hour. if you are not capitalized to catch those moves, I will not apologize, I am, so I leg into moves, both up and down. daytrading for the most part is over, although I am amazed at the swift guys, but with all the rule changes and pennies, its a game I don't need or want to play in. If you are making money I will be the 1st to say nice job. I do not try and fight with people on this site, others choose to do so. I try and learn and teach, but no one seems to care. Good trading to all. I have grown really tired of this place.
