In another note... YM may not fall in lower than 10825....... bouncing off weekly pivot and daily 50ma...... [/B]

YM up now about 40pts since i called this level last night..... many bears will be sent home on a box today...... this will go down as one of the best bear traps of the year.

good call last night lilduckling!

I don't think this will be "one of the best bear traps of the year" though. I highly doubt the market will end this day with any significant gain.

Today was an ugly outside bear reversal on a lot of sector and broad index markets, but the damn DAX and Nikkei are propping things up. The Nikkei has shown to be resilient into the recently weak dollar/yen. If the Nikkei cracks, look out below.

excellent work riskarb! You brought attention to the Nikkei (your post from 1/12) before its big drop. I wasn't following the Nikkei until you mentioned it!

maybe not such a good call lilduckling!

Like I said, very doubtful this is a bear trap day.

Beware of this rolling stone gathering moss. Indices probably will turn negative on the year in next week.

Does having a Harvard MBA make someone a better stock picker?

This type of thing has been done before. Over the years they pitted money managers with, kids... housewives.... and even chimps. The chimps beat the money managers by a tiny percent.

What does this tells us?? Anyone know? I will tell you.....

Having too much information can and will be used against you in the court of trading. Also... your mind plays tricks on you..... its better to be a pea brain like me if you ever wanna make it.
