Yeah, I know..I know. I was saying the same thing to others back in October and November.

Its trading style. When the daily flattens out, I screw up

I hope I'm not intruding, sometimes these threads look like private clubs..anyway , if oil pulls back breaking its technical support level (as i interpret it)- even though the econ. data may show weakness - maybe slow retail on tuesday, the markets may look beyond and rally , i think oil could be a catalyst , Iran if i read correctly said it would continue to supply asians with their oil. Nigerian trouble has cut of some supplies but that hasn't driven the price up as much as the initial news of trouble did. There seems to be reluctance to sell off in the cash markets- everyone is expecting rate increases - no sell off yet- we're in some sort of consolidation but with upside bias.

Do treasuries usually take a tumble before equities , with rates rising and such ? I hope everyone makes a good call for themselves.

In short the answer is yes. When that happens is the main question. Most of the time, it is usually within 2 months but there are several times when it has taken more than 6 months. The only thing is that the longer the duration the severe the reaction.

Is more sanity creeping into the halls of ET? I know we had some indicator divergence sanity from Riskarb on Sun.
