This is an incredibly silly thing to say specially after the market has been in a rally mode for 6 months and in the bigger timeframe 8 years.
There is no reason to choose sides, just pick the currently prevailing one....

Yep a small 1% dip and everyone is going to start crying on wallstreet after a massive 250%+ return over 8+ years.
But no worries, nearly everyone on wallstreet is calling for the s$p to rally above 2500+ so just keep buying the dips... Today's losses will all be erased by Friday afternoon. You know the rich have to fund their lifestyle with higher stock prices so there is no possible way they are letting this 8+ year old bull market go just yet.
