Thank you for proving what I always said about you..that is you know zero about trading.

A grand top forms right before expiration and takes the index lower into friday.

yes, mate. it's me who knows nothing of trading.

if this were a court of law (and it's not its worse) this thread would be exhibit a and b. your previous thread, just as bad.

The S&P closed today at 1270.2 Looks like we're headed for a sharp correction.

Let me speak slowly so even you can understand. "Today is a perfect day to sell the open and cash in." The open was 1281.9. There's your top today.

I'm looking for a grand top at S&P 1295-1300 hitting early tomorrow with a big reversal to the downside tomorrow through thursday. My indicators set up well for downside activity this particular expiration.

25 points from your original call.

Mate, this is no court of law. The court of law is each individuals P&L. Since I said the S&P looked toppy at 1104, I managed to squeeze out a very small profit, despite my bias to the downside.

I know you like pointing out wrong "calls" as if they translate into losing dollars. My first thread shows that is not the case if you are smart about risk.

Sooorry. But please, continue to spend your time on this thread. Keep posting.

no program grind higher today (at least not yet), something's different....

What's different is that you aren't buying the dip! BUY THE DIP!

Seriously though, what's really different is that the world might wake up to the fact that this is an overbought market that's gonna lose 50% this year ^_^

Edit: What's also different is that I am not seeing any rejection of the lows (that means there is lots of volume down at the bottom, not good sign if you are counting on a reversal anytime soon)

I agree with the OP. I went short today at the close. Normally I would've waited for AAPL's results, but figured it was worth the risk to preempt the GOOG and AAPL reports. Short ES from 70.00.

Sold 3:1 Feb 1250P at 11.00. Short ESH1 from 1270.00; short 3x the 1250P from 11.00 avg.

Spot at 1280.50 last.
