Imagine if wallstreet doesn't get the 25 basis point cut it desperately wants!!
Uh ohhh. Could happen especially after energy price skyrocketed the last 24 hours. Looks like fed is in a bind however I'm sure they will bow to wallstreet like they always do.

Expectations suddenly are rising that the Fed might not cut interest rates this week

There is actually no chance they wont cut. at worst they do a cut but talk slightly hawkish. Not sure how market will react but they will cut. Remember the good old days when an attack and potential war along with a record jump in oil prices would get markets to retreat from all time highs....

Honestly why bother daydreaming. It won't happen. It will go up and stop some folks out.

September contract is almost over and it's time to sum it up and select some key levels that will be useful at the beginning of the next, December 19 contract.

First of all, pay attention to the volume distribution picture above. It reflects the liquidity statistics day by day. The highest bar is the most liquid trading day. Based on the volume distribution data, you can determine what a typical liquid trading day looks like in terms of volume and how much the trading activity was changing.

The slide below shows the most important support levels (marked in green). It is worth paying attention to the core contract volume level, 2935, which is another support.

Another significant support range is 2920-2940 and 2968 to 2978. Vertical volume histogram proves that traders weren’t too active before the beginning of August. Typical average volumes doubled as new players came in in August, doubling the ES volatility. Much of the interest was based on supporting ES higher than the 2850-2830 region

Whether there will be an expansion above 3030 in the December contact is an open question, since the last three weeks liquidity has fallen back to normal. This is a typical behaviour for the futures like ES closer to the contract expiration.

We recommend making long-term transactions no earlier than September 18, when the new contract players show up.

And there you go...fed bows to wallstreet again with a 25 basis point cut...next cut for wallstreet is December...

Fed will do anything and everything for wallstreet

@volente_00 laughing all the way to the bank.

Thats a good one! LMAO!

**IF** he (and all the other "THE" top callers in July) actually shorted at or very near "THE" top, the highlight is their profit zone as of right now. Everything below was give-back. Of course, they were trading "U" contracts which expire this Friday, sooooo, some sort of tax-consequential event MUST occur by then, **if** they actually shorted. So far, not even cricket noises regarding exits.... I'll be on the lookout for the next "THE top" thread. yea.
