Last time I went to Connecticut, I brought a huge box with me -- filling the back of the car. SO glad to get that out of there. Set it all on a sand bar, as back in days of old -- three nights in a row. Great big fun. I still have a habit of looking at fireworks I see on the ground, trying to scavenge the duds like when I was a kid....

I use small percentage of my portfolio to each short.

I'm holding SOXS at a loss now, but my overall break even in that short etf between 2 accounts is around 75 or so

If the vix drops below 12 time to go long !!!

Everyone usually jumps on the long side of the VIX after markets have fallen 3-4-5% ...time to get in may be soon especially if you believe the fed isn't cutting rates by a huge gigantic 50 basis points at the end of July.

What most people are missing here is how Volente used the bias of this call to absolutely rake it in on the short side for quite some time prior to the rally. Great work Volente !
