Well, ya gotta ask WHY the Fed is increasing the repo in the first place. Maybe the banks are in fact going through a cash crunch, or the credit squeeze is more severe than we (whoever we might be) are led to believe. If that's the case, this ain't a bullish but a bearish news for the market.

I thought the banks had those stress test thingies..right

Honestly, I am amazed how they survived after 2001. You got to give them credit for it.

So it was an unexpected drop in earnings and whatnot! WHATEVER! Is this now the death knell of the company? Geez guys, WTH?

OMG, that is it, AMZN stock will now start falling and never ever recover, because next Monday nobody is ever going to shop with them ever again, all employees will quit, and Bezon is going to choke on his own chode.

Noddy, seriously, how did ANYBODY living in the entire Northeast region survive 9/11? The Twin Towers fell. Does that mean that New York City, as a whole, should have gone away? How did they ever survive that one black swan event?

Likewise, how does ANY company survive a miss on earnings?

Confused what you are saying. Pets.com didn't survive 2001, not everyone survived.
