They were hardly gonna keep letting it go lower!

Good luck with that premise also. The Fed is NOT going to hammer anything. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have liquidated much of their loan portfolios, and the QE money supply saturation has for the most part been phased away. In fact, corporate tax rate restructuring is the big wildcard on the horizon and that one you won't like because it will be like jet fuel for big names with large offshore holdings.
