Got taken out for scratch. It will probably rip now to spite me. I will wait for the next opp.
That's strange cause I don't see a print at 21567 after you said you moved your stop to scratch. Of course scratch to me means your entry level, and the lowest print I have at 16:42 eastern time is 21572, which is still 5 ticks above your entry.

Let's look at the facts

Fading both of my top calls since march 1 and going long would have only been profitable to you if you were using a stop greater than 80 points and 50 points to survive the short term top that followed them.
My first top call at 2400 netted 78 points with a 30 point stop
The second call was followed by a 48 point drop.

And both of these were called in advance in a raging bull market that people claim is unshortable.

I really don't have an issue with you playing these short term shorts, the "top" calls are tiresome and they failed, just own it and let's not pretend they were good calls. My opinion, the current direction of US indexes is unclear and anything unclear isn't worth trading on ( it's basically gambling on a guess ). Shorting US indexes is easily the least successful type of trade on here the last 7 years, rarely being profitable for the posters and in some cases ( e.g. Nitro and his models ) a horrendous loser. Given that back drop, I find top calls on US indexes distasteful. You may be a great trader for all I know, but that's due to effective trade management skills and strategies not your calls.

Leave volente be. Top/Bottom calling is an ART, a worthwhile endeavor. It takes balls. Trend reversal players often throw small money at reversals to test them. Just because these nibbles fail does not mean they won't get it right. Small losses are part of the overall game. Just as you find top calling on US markets distasteful, many of us find attacking a man with balls, distasteful.

You are correct accept that I am trading the CFD and had equivalent of 5 ish YM contracts on the dealer spread was 10 ticks at the time. 21572 was the mid price the dealer sell price 5 ticks lower. Here is the fill. I got taken out at said moment by 0.5 ticks. Bisous

No reason for us to go down. I don't understand why everyone has been calling tops for the last decade. Weak stocks are replaced with strong ones. Rules are in place to limit down side. etc etc - It's almost never wise to short it. just buy dips and breakouts and literally everyone on this site will make money. The reason so many peopl lose trading futures is because they are allowed to short!

Your entire post is precisely why volente has called a top
