Dude, I only traded like an hour this morning. I was so busy with non-trading activities. I could have easily bang out $10K-$20K today. Today is that kind of opportunities day.

I thought I would never come to a day when I can say work is actually costing me trading profits. LOL. I make now on a daily basis more than my job/work.

But I understand the cycle of trading P&L. There are ups and downs. I still need the stability of a job when I hit a down cycle.

I guess until I hit that 7 figures or multiple 7 figures then I can truly focus 100% on trading.

Not complaining. Just saying I'm leaving a lot of $$ on the table everyday because of non-trading activities. hehe.

In the meantime, gotta juggle multiple balls.

I'm lovin' these volatility days. I'm still not trading the best I can. There's ALWAYS ALWAYS room for improvements. Timing on a few items were slightly off but with patience they came back nicely.

Right mindset: Constantly looking for ways to improve.

Horrible day! Mostly due to mistakes and not being patient! In my taxable IB, I was up over $1400 just trading 3-6 lots of MNQs. That tells how big the ranges were! Gave up a lot of that back. Toward the end of the day had an opportunity to make it all back and some but sold too early.

IB IRA account was down -$3K at one point and came back all the way to being down just -$754.

TZ account was down -$5K at one point and then came back.

Whew! Need to reexamine the trades. Avoid this. It was near catastrophic level but it came back.
 
It's all about perspectives.

Today, I lost about one day's worth of gains across 3 accounts. Not the end of the world. In the past, my accounts would be totally blown out! Meaning I would be double double digit percentage on these crazy down moves.

I've come a long way from my old ways of trading! That's progress! Feb was an great month. March is still positive. #dontgiveup#ProgressNotPerfection

Yes, it can be done. Daytrading. Basically it was just one trade with size. Caught a nice uptrend. In and out. It's been a long journey. But satisfying to see the fruits of all these years of labors.

Today was positive but not necessarily good trading. bad entry and bad exit. Could have been up $21K!! Need to be patient.

@ironchef I'm still learning everyday. Everyday is a something new to learn to improve your trading.

@Overnight Kind of really pissed with IB! They auto liquidated my QO(mini golad) futures contract last week even though I have $22K in that IRA account. WTF? Of course, shortly after gold rallied 100+ pts. WTH! So ridiculuous! Even on QO not even GC, IB screwed me over.

Oh well.
