Personally I wish all blacks would move to the south.GA has 2 Dem Senators and voted for Biden.Many if not most confederate states are now within single digits for presidential and senate races.A few more blacks in the south could tip more confederate states blue while there are enough liberal whites in the north to not put those states at risk of going red.

It is curious how @Mercor knows about that Great South North event but not the political switch which is akin.

But of course there have been other, smaller switches in the platforms of the two parties over the years.

For example the Democratic party used to be the party of free trade, while the Republican was the party of protectionism. However, these two parties have switched positions on this issue in recent decades. Now global trade protectionism is back again.
