1) They wouldn't all be "confederates"
2) Maybe they'll nuke the mob surrounding the WH. Taking out Odumbo with them.

I am sure Obama would be long gone and The White House probably has a nuke proof bunker anyway

Huh? Why aren't you in school today?

The thing is virtually nothing on that list will will help prevent school shootings.

And worse much of the items on that list will cost a lot money we don't have.

I could rephrase those questions slightly and get a totally different result, ie "Do you believe a father should have to get government approval before giving a .22 rifle to his son?"

"Do you believe the government should decide what firearms families are permitted to have for home defense?"

Again, the links you originally referred to show a clear split between Tougher Laws and Status Quo, with Status Quo out performing Tougher Laws (and significantly more so if you include those who want more lax laws).

Colorado's bills are regarding background checks, and magazine size. Cap'n Obvious claimed it was the "feds" pushing it. I claimed it was public opinion pushing the feds. The data I wanted was for public opinion polls that would capture those two issues, background checks and magazine size. The first page of results (I limit to 10 per page) has Pew, Gallup, and this one:

The fed's are pushing it. They get their minions in the media to do a poll. Of course the poll they do will slant left. The media push the poll results and the administration say's see, this is what the people want. Pravda would be proud.

What makes you think any data you have to support this opinion is not just as "slanted"?

Fair enough. In that case, I would agree that you have successfully proven your point. I thought you were talking about overall gun laws.
