They consider my ideas old-fashioned and conservative and are top-notch gals, but they still have some liberal ideas, BUT they live conservative lives and that is the difference, unlike Patti Davis.

I really do not think ex-presidents and their families are openly critical of any sitting or other presidents. Carter may have said a few things, but by and large it never gets to the media if anything is said.
