Piezoe, if the media were in the the business for profits and not control would they not be doing things very differently. Only a small percentage of the country actually identifiies as liberal. Fox has shown them there is gold in the right middle of the road.
Ever since the mass media was bought by the conglomerates and the cronies, profits have run a distant second to message and information control. You need to catch up with the times.
Additionally the redblooded republican businessman is actually the small to medium size business owners and they are not the establishment wing. The federal reserve banks cronies own both the democrats and the establishment republicans and since they already own so much they are not nearly as concerned about profits out of their media holdings. If they were cnn and msnbc and the NYT and all the other fading leftist organs would have jogged to the middle right a long time ago.
most of this seems rather off the wall to me. Pretty bizarre. If what you were trying to say, but didn't, was that there is too much influence on policy by those with lots of money, I certainly couldn't disagree. You lost me when you started in on Federal Reserve Banks Cronies talk. I haven't a clue what you're trying to say. It seems you are trying to suggest that these private sector corporations that own the major media networks don't put their profits before other considerations. That might be true, but you'll have a hard time convincing me of it, because everything I observe says otherwise, including last night's hilarious debate.
