Germans are in 64% Christians. Germans are not secular, a majority of the people are believers. The laws of this country however provide for a separation between the state and the Church to some extend. Not fully, because Germans pay religious taxes through the state tax authorities. I guess you didn't know this.

Please do yourself a favour and get some BASIC knowledge first before posting anything.

I cannot swear enough to you that these fringe elements in our societies are not in the " 100s of Millions". Not even remotely close to what Mav, Tom B and TGregg are claiming them to be. They do not represent anything. You do not have to believe me; go to the Middle East and see for yourself. But, we all know the objective behind this campaign carried by them and what is this campaign trying to achieve.

I wouldn't doubt for a second that the majority are peaceful.

HOWEVER that majority does nothing! They are silent!

You represent a mass of people who are too scared to take sides.

Instead of trying to make Muslims look good you should be trying to make the peaceful Muslims rise against the radicals.

If the "vast majority of peaceful muslims" spent a quarter as much effort denouncing and helping to stop the fanatics as they do trying to convince everybody they are a peaceful religion, I'd be more convinced. Instead of filing lawsuits stopping television shows from portraying muslims as terrorists or stopping security from picking a male muslim aged 20-30 for searching over an 80 year old grandma in a wheelchair, they could be calling attention to imams who preach hate in their mosques. But, they'd rather come here and try to claim that the vast majority of terrorism on this planet at this time is not done in the name of allah.

Meanwhile, The Religion of Peace strikes again! 30 dead in a mosque. No outrage from the "peaceful" muslims on this, but boy think of the riots and marches and screaming lectures in the mosques and handwringing on television and condemnation from the UN all around the world if the Jews or Americans did this. However, it was muslim terrorists, so that's OK.

The one thing we all can agree on, it that history has proven that most religions, especially Muslims and Christianity have both been murderous in the name of their gods. If you think they are right or wrong depends if your side are murdering or getting murdered. As long as we have people dedicating their life to invisible gods and powers and basing their life on centuries old short stories then the insane thoughts and actions of both religions will continue.
