Z won't address his logical contradictions because he can't. He also will not acknowledge the slavery argument because he is intellectually dishonest. Slavery was once the law of the land in some states in the US, but because people outside those states judged it to be wrongheaded it was ended. If slavery was legal today in Europe, Z would tell us in the states that it's not our place to have an opinion about it. What can one say to that but it's just plain stupid.
The slavery issue was a country issue, happening within American borders. It was a country's internal struggle which came about slowly as the country evolved.
We did not fight a civil war because another country had abolished slavery and judged us as uncivilized.
It took a civil war, but America decided that slavery was wrong in America and made it illegal.
Slavery still exists in many parts of our world today...
So what is your point again?
We came to a conclusion through great effort to abolish slavery. Our own conclusions. The end of slavery was our doing internally, not because a more advanced civilization opinioned or moralized us into to...
If another country had invaded the US and tried to abolish slavery in the late 18th century, how do you think Americans would have taken to that?
America is great when it sets great examples, and America is at its worst when it judges the actions of other countries even while it is unable to fix its own messes.
The dog analogy is logically disconnected and weak, you have great diffficulty in constructing analogies as well. Get your money back.
And you have great (sic) "di
ffficulty"
using a spell checker...
Very, very
fffunny...
Get your money back...
I don't know, I guess you have no reading comprehesion. I told you why radical Islam is important to evaluate.
Oh, so you have
told me...
Gee, it must be horrible for you when people don't agree with you simply because you told them so...
Looking the other way and not judging sex with ten year olds is sick.
Who is looking the "other" way?
I spend my time looking to the flaws of America first and foremost...
Fix our culture first would be a lovely way to lead the world.
This transcends laws and cultures. There is substantial medical evidence that it is a perverted and harmful practice.
Medical evidence that it is perverted?
LOL!!!
If you want to see real "medical evidence of perversion" look to America and the foods filled with chemicals, the drugs Americans take and their side effects, the levels of obesity, the pollution we dump into our air, water, and land....now there is a real perversion of nature that has a medical consequence if I ever saw one.
We could focus our attention on our own problems here at home, clean up our act...but of course that would require that we change our own culture...so what do people do? They focus on other cultures as a means to avoid dealing with their own problems.
As long as a person is focusing on and judging another country for what they perceive as wrong, the less they are looking to their own culture and their own problems that need to be fixed first.
But then regressive really don't want to improve our country...
I don't claim any sort of perfection at all, and I make no claims of overall superiority, but I judge this one act to be barbaric and primitive.
And when other countries look to our death penalty which they have outlawed as being primitive and barbaric you think that's a great thing that they judge us so, because it makes us want to improve and change, right?
When other countries point to our gun violence and other problems, you say "Thanks for pointing that out...after all it is your job to judge us and help us to evolved. Thanks so much, because it is good for one culture to judge another culture's behavior."
