before registering i read a bit on ET. reactions like this one from you are the reason why i don't go deeper in suggestions i make.i am just telling that people should watch what i described. just my opinion. but on ET, where everybody seems to be an expert,everybody is asking for help. experts don't need help, they know already everything they need.

a lot of negative and aggressive reactions, was confirmed again today. no wonder a lot of people left ET in the past.

i don't know if i am superior or not because i know nothing about other traders and their performance. so i cannot compare. i don't care about these things, only care about the money i make.

That is the beauty of this game. There are no secrets. A succesful trader can share everything in great technical detail and yet no one else will be able to replicate it. It could take mere seconds for me to decide on a trade but to try and describe to you the reasons behind my decision would take an entire article, and that would just be one trade! The next trade i take would could take seconds to decide on but the reasoning behind it would be quite different to the reasons for the first trade.
See what im getting at?

Trading is not about being smart in normal sense,educated with a good degree,well read,noob or experienced at trying to capture few ticks off random movement.
It is about different kind of smarts,patterns,connecting things between each other so they distinguish themselves very quickly.This could also be called talent.
Indicators will work only in discretionary trading as some will be able to read things better and profit from it.IMHO good traders will use them.
In automated trading they are useless as edge needs to be defined before the start,speed of execution,market making,time series analysis or something else that gives signals to when that system is weak or strong to bet accordingly.

To spark the idea in another that it is indeed possible. It stimulates desire for something more to experience for oneself. When I heard that having a productive relationship with the market could provide feelings of confidence, comfort and support, those concepts were foreign enough to be unbelievable. The feelings that are typical of this domain is full of doubt, fear, anxiety, and confusion.

Take your first four statements, for some the truth is obvious, for others it can be a revelation.

Buy strength and sell weakness. He says we are all conditoned with it. Perhaps its a natural thing to be contrarian. Im wondering why that is.

Look at the tools and methods for the masses that are for sale that we as little retail amateurs
comsume for god knowshow long. Contrarian is the obvious strong signal IMO. Breakouts and reversals are contrary to preceding behavioir for some time. Stong signal for sale to all.
What of all that long , mundane , boring , low signal market time between these low probability signals. What's there?
