The reality of trading

A trader to have a realistic chance trading full time needs to have a SIX figure account.
There will always be OUTLIERS. Of-course lower the cost of trading the better.

I disagree with that "SIX figure account" -- I don't think any of the extraordinary traders in recent history started with an account that large o_O:confused:
You only need an account a tiny fraction of that size...to prove, or determine, whether you got what it takes to succeed.

But most people shouldn't trade;
It truly takes a special kind of individual to succeed in this game. -- If you already have a large account...people should just invest, diversified.

Any business is a very low margin business, except prostitution and drug dealing or if your lucky enough to be in Russia in 90-th,buying out steel and oil factories for pennies.
How about being a Fox News contributor? Seems pretty low overhead to me.

The Most Profitable Small Businesses

I find this one hard to believe. These guys make a fortune with almost no cost:

15. Lessors of Miniwarehouses and Self-Storage Units: 11%

Start up costs are steep, unless you going to have ten miles outside the city, you going to need a 3-4 acres, then moving earth so storage unit are higher than where you drive car so when you get heavy rain-units not flooded out & ground needs to be slantted toward street then asphalting, you need to build strong units. Yep, I have looked into these good deal. And next place I move to might give this a whirl using unconventional methods.

11. Drilling Oil And Gas Wells: 12%

This is not cheap at all, equipment is very expensive and employees cost big time as well, along with insurances.

One of the very best Small Businesses are Laundromats that only take store only debit cards, front of store has exchange for Debit card unit that only takes credit/debit cards- no cash on premises, you place them in Low Income areas so rents are cheap, have someone there while store is open, people wash their clothes in good times and bad. Another one is advertising truck, it has slanted sides that accept electric signs, drivers go down most roads with billboards on the truck during day and evenings.

I think it best to have "Protective Stops" and owning businesses in my way of not having to depend on income from trading. Start something small and build it up then hire others to do it.

I have an idea for storage units that is unconventional. Since the government is going to be going into space, have storage units in space for government use in outer space.

Storage units located at increments of 10 million miles to every interesting planet, of which numero uno is Mars. I don't know what size would be good, but i estimate a football field size storage unit, something along the lines of an Amazon fulfillment center.

$100,000,000/year per unit. Air/temperature controlled included no extra cost.

I also think that one of the most important stores that will open in Mars is a PetSmart. Think about it - human beings go crazy without companionship. Since other human beings aren't going to go in droves at first, pets will probably outnumber human beings 10:1 or more. Dogs, fish tank, cats, etc. And from then on its a growth industry.

So I want own the first PetMarsT (like the name?) on Mars. Then franchise it.

How about moving the government to outer space? Store them out there and only one dial up connection.

You get a kick out of this. http://www.usdebtclock.org/
