Well, he lives in a society which scorns wealth (which he has alot of). Looks like he's got a great P.R. dept to cover his ass.
Btw, Sweden's a country full of "frugal" communists and socialists with the highest taxes in the world. The Social democratic government's economic policy rules the land. High taxes and gas prices which are over 6 dollars have resulted in a high unemployment rate of about 25%. Most of these lazy people are sitting around all day living on other people's tax money.
I'm sure there'd be many more "cheap" people here in the states if gasoline hit $6.

The billionaire Swede, who turns 80 on March 30, explained his legendary habits during a rare television interview in Switzerland, his adoptive home for nearly 30 years.
