The radical moral implications of luck in human life

Listened to about 120 seconds (or less) and for me it was clear. They have some major responsibility in creating and maintaining their own circumstances. Just listen to the music and lyric. No wonder.....At least that is my perception of it..wrong or right.

So I watched both of the videos and found them a waste of time.
d08,

Thanks for watching. I respect your decision and agree with you. Everyone is entitiled to their own opinions of how they view things.

I grew up in a relatively poor country at the time. Lived on the border of the worst neighborhood in the country, went to a school where fights and such were commonplace (really, you just have to fight back) and was raised by a single mother for most of my youth.
It's all most definitely disadvantageous but most people use it as an excuse to not try. This is especially true in US ghettos where the victim mentality is prevalent, in the rest of the world, people realize that the only option is to try and improve things.
I agree with D08, those are only excuses, accompanied by low-level offences and not yet excuse, a clear sense of weakness. Only a strong person can recognize own error. Cowards never do.
If nothing happened, it appears I will have n.2 on my ignore, in addition to the hysteric D.

Returning to the argument -
My husband, the father of our kids, grew up in a not only very special area, rich of gold, mines, and criminals; where also, 70% of the residents were former prisoners. And because his school grades where at maximum and people there really did not like brain and science, he became champion in boxing, this was only one way to survive. All of our six sons are following his path and are boxing. This is the only reminder memory we are having from that period.
Another knowledge is that criminals, who can easily kill you for a piece of gold ore are less dangerous than the white collar criminals we are dealing with now.
I, myself, grew up with only my mother and cemetery, where my beloved dad is, taken away very young by a heart attack. Our boys are lucky to have both parents, but I believe myself to be very lucky l - my mom gives me all - I believe in myself and have wings, and I will never stop to read.
The rest is history - business, trading and now legal war.

Disagree.
Each of us is born where it is better for this life-path in this life for you, just for you, in order to make possible for you, your eternal I to grow. The status of parents, wealth, education, that you are coming into this life is just a perfect private school of your Higher Self-choice.
We are choosing our parents, our kids are choosing us. It helps me a lot to explain to my boys, they picked us up and have only to enjoy.

Hey CSE, wat upp. Not that I believe any part of you saga, I still hope ya'll are doin well.

Hi, Viper,,
Thank you for your hope.
But sorry to hear you do not believe in what you call "our story", what we are living as everyday day survival drama, but determined to bring it to the victory.
Just to answer your question .
What brings you to " don't believe?"

How many people blame the circumstances of their life on their job, neighbor, family, friends, town, city, clients, customers, brokerages, mutual funds (especially us traders LOL..I know I’ve done it too), ...etc..even themselves..with all the guilt and pain that goes with the latter?

Nobody is suggesting to lie down and cry if you draw the short straw. However, one should be away that short straws exist and that many people that we objectify as samples of success did not draw them.

PS. You sure write a lot :P

LOL Many did. Short enough?

80/20

In trading when you begin you will spend 80% of your time and efforts to move just 20% towards your goal. However, as you are nearing critical mass in your endeavour you will find 20% of your time and effort will produce 80% of your goal. This is sort of a type of exponential movement towards achieving something. This is why it is neccessary to DECIDE beforehand to NOT give up. Most people give up before “critical mass” is ever reached. Therefore, they have no runaway profits from trading.

He who gives up NEVER accomplishes what he set put to do but he who NEVER gives up has a better chance of achieving success. So..will you persist or will you give up?

THINK ABOUT IT!
