Ohhhh....touchy. Someone is a sensitive little boy. You ask for constructive participation, and when you get it, you double down on displays of ignorance.'.
Another bitter old guy.
With respect, replace 'Google' for NFLX in the above sentence and imagine it's Oct 2021.
Perception of what is a good price to pay for a stock can change very quickly.
I accept that GOOG is not NFLX.

,You make margin sound like something bad - with a margin account nobody puts a gun to your head to use it either.Additional info: with a CashAcct a margin call cannot happen,.
I only said that with a margin account there is the risk of getting a margin call if the account is short of available own cash when the market turns against oneself (ie. meeting the maintenance margin requirement at all times), whereas with a cash account one never ever can get such a margin call. You make margin sound like something bad - with a margin account nobody puts a gun to your head to use it either.
I love margin - gives me more options
, a screenshot of my option scanner's output (it's a command line tool
) in @KCalhoun's thread.Regarding Cash Account I recently had posted these info.
Additional info: with a CashAcct a margin call cannot happen,
and as already said above: with CashAcct there is no Pattern Day Trading (PDT) restriction that limits the number of daytrades.
