[14:04] <brandon> I spend most of my day doing the same boring stuff over and over again
[14:04] <brandon> pretty much like a job
[14:04] <brandon> which is what I suppose makes me profitable

[14:04] <brandon> when my day starts
[14:04] <brandon> I want to find the stocks that are gapping
[14:04] <brandon> lately I have been looking at the up gappers more heavily simply because the market has been strong
[14:04] <brandon> what I want to see is that the gap holds
[14:05] <brandon> everyone knows the saying "Gaps fill"
[14:05] <brandon> and for the most part it is true
[14:05] <brandon> what is also true though is that when something should happen and it does not
[14:05] <brandon> that is often a very strong signal to you that the opposite will
[14:05] <brandon> so in this case we had the gap holding
[14:05] <brandon> so now to find a point of entry
[14:05] <brandon> you dont want to just buy at some point
[14:05] <brandon> because nothing goes in a straight line
[14:05] <brandon> and you can easily buy the top tick
[14:06] <brandon> so I like to wait for some rest
[14:06] <brandon> in this case here we just had a nice base
[14:06] <brandon> this one was pretty much in the middle of the diddle
[14:06] <brandon> but still based nicely
[14:06] <brandon> when it broke above 18.10 that broke the resistence
[14:06] <brandon> and we had our buy
[14:06] <brandon> which was closed around 18.70
