As I've posted on other threads, Mish is spot on in saying that C and BAC would be bankrupt if it weren't for the government guarantees.

The stocks of these two companies is now a call option on government handouts.

It's disgusting.

These recent actions are very telling....and very negative....
 
How many times do I have to say that any stimulus plan WILL NOT WORK, everyone thinks that in a few years the economy will be thriving once again, wake up, this credit crisis is so great that hundreds of billions of dollars wont even help. Throwing money at the problem is NOT going to fix it. The only thing that will fix this crisis is TIME. There is no solution to this crisis that could have been avoided if proper measures were taken a decade or 2 ago.
