Soft skills aren't a bad thing. Honestly, in business soft skills are valued above tech skills. Networking is not always easy and sales is even more challenging. How does it not compare? MBA programs are garbage to start with. No hard skills are taught. It's a networking circus with paper crown as reward in the end. Most MBA programs today are even taught via video conferencing or a combination of that and classroom teaching. Pretty close to online learning in terms of content. Reputation wise there are differences but again it's basically because of the different screening process. If you had an online program that only admits the best of the best then the reputation will be accordingly high.
I think Cooper is charging now. Students were furious I believe.I knew about Cooper Union. Very small engineering school near NYU.
I went to NYU. I could have dealt with more Sun!
Thanks for the input. How is recruiting at ASU? Did you have a fairly easy time securing internships? It's an awesome place. I will admit, I work mostly with MIT and Stanford engineers and my ASU degrees have left a chip on my shoulders. It prepares you to do the job every bit as well as the more prestigious universities... But is more affordable. The downside is purely perception.
I would guess the starting salary for an ASU mba is less than other universities, but Phoenix is substantially cheaper than probably any east coast city.
