Sorry, I disagree. There is progressive, and there is progressive, as in the Secular Progressive movement. The first is fine. The latter is all too common now a days.
And this is the challenge the Democratic party candidates have. To win the nomination, they have to be really, really far left. To win the general, they have to be more moderate.

Yeah, we saw how progressive they are in Seattle. What did they immediately do with their illegally occupied territory? Constructed a wall, stronger mob rule began day one, extorted local businesses for food and money, segregated themselves by race and personal beliefs, within a week started executing the non compliant.
All of this was done with the endorsement and approval of the democratic party. In fact they cheered it on. This is what you call progress? No thanks.
That's not the Democratic Party that did that. That's an ultra fringe part of it. But the fact that Democrats took so long to publicly condemn it and when they finally did, did so almost completely sotto voce means they were more concerned with upsetting this very violent and extremist secular progressive part of their party than they were about the vast silent majority of people who could have called the Democratic Party home this election. And they will pay for it.
Pelosi - no matter what else you will say about her - is very shrewd. She gets this and this is why she delivered that speech (finally) about law and order.

Hypothetically, let’s say Biden really man handles Trump in the debate. Like clearly has all of his facts together and gives well thought out answers so there’s no way to truly believe he’s senile. Would that make any difference to you?
