We have claim from Trump that Obama wiretapped him

We have two possible scenerios.

If Obama did wiretap him, then Obama would have to face jail time. It would simply be the biggest scandal this country has faced. Obama in jail could cause all sorts of problems.

If Trump can produce no evidence, about the wiretap, then the Trump Presidency is essentially over. You simply cannot lodge a false claim of this magnitude and expect to get away with it.

I was by no means an Obama supporter, but if he didnt wiretap Trump, he should not be slandered. If he did wiretap, then shame on him and he deserves seriously jail time.

Either way, America loses.
 
Well, what I've been reading, is that it's very likely that wiretapping had occurred. If Obama had not ordered it, then I think the President owes him an apology. The Trump Presidency goes on.

If Trump was wiretapped, then Obama was behind it. There is no doubt in my mind. It sounds like you believe the story, and this ought to send a chill down everyone's spine.

I want to see some evidence that it occurred before I make a decision. Either way, this is really bad.

He's the president so I'll grant him the possibility of having knowledge the general public does not. I'm not so ready to throw the previous administration under the bus as I still have some trust in our Judicial system. Can't be all "blue lives matter" only when it fits some narrative.

This. Trump was slandered six ways from Sunday during the 18 month leadup to (and after) the Election. Now Obama takes one hit, and we expect Trump to stand down. Fuck that.

Trump can apologize and move on. Likely Obama is guilty. When was the last time Trump was wrong?
 
The first thing they teach you in Chicago democrat machine politics is you don't write anything down. You put the right people in place, you don't need to. They know why they're there.

No one is going to implicate their King Obama. That would be the kind of thing a republican would do. Still, if Trump was tapped illegally, someone has to go to jail.

You guys seen for 8 years that Obama left no trails behind to get him into any kind of impeachable / resignation type trouble.Don't know why y'all would think he would be so sloppy to illegally wiretap trump and leave proof behind that he did it.Obama knows Trump does and says stupid shit without thinking and what he might have left behind is numerous traps for Trump to fall into :D

The left counted on the historic passivity of the republican party over the last 20 years or so. And Trump may have even gone along with that, after all, he did pretty much pardon Hillary Clinton or at least indicated he would not pursue her any further.

So Obama used national assets to monitor the political campaign of the opposition and Obama appointees used widely disseminated FISA information to conduct a soft-coup from within the government. Trump, likely already aware of the surveillance conducted against him, finally decided to lob a nuclear weapon into the middle of the kerfuffle. Slowly over the last 24 hours the left has realized that it has been nuked and is in serious trouble.

The snowflakes took on a street fighter. The consequences are now quite serious and President Trump strikes me as a guy who is channeling Sun Tzu.
