I think Pekelo's point was that you could double the supply of crypto via forks forever. I leave this to the crypto enthusiasts to ponder. Currently we read about how difficult and expensive it has become to mine more coins. Ergo, the conventional conclusion would be that increasing demand would push up the value per unit. Wouldn't it???Bitcoin mining down to the last fractional amount is, if I understand correctly, similar to an atom moving towards an immovable object at half the distance increments each time. It might not ever reach it.

yup! but that's probably where the similarities end......... worth what they can be exchanged for ... just like fiat.
It did? Goes to show how out of it I am when I comes to crypto. I need to reboot, and then stay in my lane. You guys need to do some research. Bitcoin already forked, and what is that fork worth now?

I don't know if that's true but the most influential musicians in dance music history were all electrical engineers turned techno pioneers -- Kraftwerk (Ralf Hutter & Florian Schneider). They basically created all the modern instruments for electronic music. Roland even ripped off their drum machine creation. Kraftwerk had the original design long before the TR 808 ever came out. That's another well known myth. What Germans are best at is marketing their BS skills. Love those delusional gold buggers. Annnnyday now Gold will be used as money again. Only thing is how do you mint enough 99.9% pure gold coins to be used in commercial transactions for a marketplace of 7+ billion people?
LOL
