too many of the polls leave out their internal templates. But on the ones we have, when adjusted to a dem plus 4 template the race falls in the margin for error. making these national polls trivial.
the real question is how are the state races doing and which polls can be trusted.

Its not a simple question as you previously stated.When I have time I might engage in a multi page debate on if tariffs and currency debasement worked in those countries but now I'm discussing politics.

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, showing he’ll say anything to win a vote, had this message for America’s terminally ill people on Wednesday: Stay alive long enough to cast a vote for him next month.
“I don’t care how sick you are,” Trump said at a rally in Henderson, Nevada. “I don’t care if you just came back from the doctor and he gave you the worst possible prognosis, meaning it’s over, you won’t be around in two weeks. Doesn’t matter. Hang out till Nov. 8. Get out and vote.”
Speaking with his signature arrogance, Trump then assured those dying people that after they are gone, “all we’re going to say is, ‘We love you and we will remember you always.’”
To be fair, Trump prefaced his comments by saying “I say kiddingly, but I mean it.”

so you can see the sample is skewed and they are very light with the independents because trump is leading by 11 with independents in their poll.
If trump continues to lead by 11 with independents. that is amazing. Romney may have had a 3 point lead with them.
If that holds hillary loses big.
By the way Trump is leading by 2 in Rasmuessen (very big swing from down 4 or 5 a few days ago if I recall.) and up for in the LA times poll.

Jem will believe anything that supports his beliefs. He starts with a conclusion and works backwards from there. The exact opposite of a scientific method.
