The Pipedream of Daytrading

Quote from pattern39:

Envy not those few who make it. They have sacrificed their soul (sold their soul to the Devil) and have nothing of value left to themselves other than some digital number in some bank's database.

And b/c of the Law of Cause and Effect (which works just like gravity --- it works!), even these will go bankrupt just like Jesse Livermore, Nicolas Darvas, and countless other "millioniare" traders.

So, in the end, the few who make it will have lost everything (their soul and superfluous fortune altogether). Run fast away from trading while you still have some of your soul left.

"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?" (The Bible)

Darvas didn't go bankrupt, but he did over-concentrate and the 1957 bull and out of sight out of mind offered a little assistance.

After so many years, I get tired of the Paul Bunyon mythology about Livermore. Bi-polar and 1934 Securites legislation eliminated any edge he had left. 1906 Union Pacific was a fluke Bethlehem Steel in 1915 was inside info.

Just wanted to write that, in case anyone has any doubts.

Never met a day trader who can make money consistently...there must be a reason.

I've never met a brain surgeon or a professional basketball player. They must not exist either.

Why do I get the feeling I have some of your money.

:)

Perchance you don't think that those things happened to Livermore and Darvas b/c of... KARMA... don't you?

"Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's property (nor his trading account)." The Ten Commandments spelt it out crystal clear. If you are NOT looking for a troubled life, maybe you should do as The Ten Commandments say...

And what about those that make money and invest/contribute to community?
People like you are a big part of the problem we face on earth. Self righteous know it all pains in the arse.

Go troll somewhere else. This is a trading site.

I trade everyday in/out in/out in/out, I stop when I reach my profit target.

The last losing day who was only half of what my daily target is was 28trading days ago.

I trade for a living. I don't know what you're trying to say.
