I hear ya. This is the hardest business to undertake. How I even trade and mentally deal with it while working a full-time job is beyond me.

How's tonight going? You doing any scalping?

My setup just triggered and filled:

BUY order EUR/JPY @ 138.465, SL @ 138.180
 
I should get some sleep, but I put on a scalp....Now I must follow it through...My scalps require management and are not the perfect set-ups, that I like to represent them to be...

Two years ago, I could not trade the set-ups I that I trade successfully today.

Else I have been exrtremely lucky lately, or I am getting the hang of this :)

I think the real test is the ability to take losses...

Very true.

I'm still working on that... I just came off of 10-12 consecutive drawdowns in my main account (equities) and about 4 of those were due to mistakes... it's been a rough month, but because I continued to stick with my plan, the last trade was a nice winner, and my current open trade is shaping up to be nice as well...very very rough.

Speaking of nice... take a look at EUR/JPY right now... looks like I'm right so far... so that means the bears will be rolling in here shortly and I'll lose those profits... :)

I didn't say they were my mistakes... I'm in denial... it's the market... THEY did it to me. THEY took my stop out...

damn...I only got half of the profit on my scalp...I thought I had my trade ticket parked...and I didn't...That extra click in the heat of the moment cost me half of my profit! at least I still got some!

don't trade tired....
