BTW- the stock market highs are meaningless to 90% of voters...most don't have two quarters to rub together.
Which leads us to- the 6% unemployment rate is meaningless when the Labor Force Participantion Rate is at 50 year lows...and the millions of voters with no job or a crappy part time job made that clear last night.
And since I'm shitting all over your idiotic Letterman quote- gas was $1.90 when Obama took office...its up 60% under his watch. Only a mindless lapdog would trumpet "under $3.00" as a highlight of this dumpster fire Obama administration.

Shows that Letterman is just as clueless as you are.

Gas is lower, and that's a good for the people. But that's an exercise in alienating Russia, with the Saudis playing point. Though this is still good for the people (when Obama took office it was $1.87, though).

Unemployment is bogus, because the number isn't real and doesn't reflect reality.

The stock market is one giant liquidity bubble blown by the Fed, benefiting a few.

But, you've got gas!

While the CNN exit poll showed that 59% of the electorate was angry/dissatisfied with the Obama administration, 60% said they were angry/dissatisfied with GOP leaders in Congress. That is hardly a ringing endorsement for the nation's leaders at a time when fear is driving people's emotions on the economy and personal safety.

The CNN exit poll showed that 45% of the electorate named the economy as the most important issue facing the country, followed by health care 25%, illegal immigration 14% and foreign policy 13%.

Looking ahead to 2016, White House contenders and congressional candidates will be emphasizing that they have the plan to turn the economy around and protect the U.S. homeland. How the candidates differentiate themselves -- especially in the presidential race -- will be interesting and telling.

Some of us reject Socialism... especially when it's blatantly shoved in our faces... as per Odumbo's administration and the current crop of DemoCraps.

Unfortunately, most of us didn't pay close enough attention to recognize... AND STOP... the Progressives' Socialist agenda which has been creeping up on us for the last 100 years.
 
Ordinary people clearly have lost confidence in obama and democrats.

Republicans have a great opportunity, but they could easily blow it and probably will.

I think the main thing is people are sick and tired of stupid policies forced on them and implemented poorly. Whether it's the child invasion, ebola, an unintelligible middle east policy or obamacare, it's like common sense has been outlawed in Washington. More people have gotten ebola than were fired for the IRS scandal.

All the republicans have to do is be the voice of reason.
