My lawyer can tell you exactly why.

Here is my intuition based on what he explained to me. Someone is not allowed to eat the fourth time in a Mcdonald's if he or she eats three times already in five consecutive days. It is because he or she does not have $25K but can paid the bills with no problem whatsoever. The most important offense of constitution is that some others with more than $25K can do whatever he or she wants to.

That IS my point , why should i be kept from "giving it a whirl"? Who am i hurting if I've signed all the waivers? Just me.

Just look at yesterday and today's markets, please tell me how a small investor can survive with PDT margin rules in place. There is no way for them to keep effective principle in trading such a volatile market.

More lawyers please study this PDT margin balcony. You may make a fortune out of it from rich Sam like Saddam did.


By the way, personally, I belive Saddam Iraq has won and Bush America has lost.

Taodr, That's exactly I want to hear from someone.

If America does not focusing on internal matters, at least as important as external fares, America gets problems.

If America does not solving unconstitutional issues as small as PDT margin rules, America get problems.

That's how simple it is.



Note, I do not want to piss you off by saying bad thing about America just because this small PDT margin issue comparing to war policies. But in reality, there are correlations.

Perhaps your lawyer would do best to stick with defending DUI's, rather than Constitutional Law. I can't find any reference to your "right" to eat at McDonalds, either.

Speaking of McDonalds, why not take on a second job to raise the required funding? Your efforts would be better spent asking if a customer wants fries with the order, than tilting at windmills.

Look at today's market. It can be seen how difficult to work around the PDT margin rule. You cannot take profit, as well as more importantly you cannot cut loss.

We are not supposed to be restricted by the PDT margin rules at all.
