Sometimes you give one piece of shit a try and it does not work and then you give the other piece of shit a try.

People should worry less about Biden winning than what Congress will do since that is where the real power is wielded. I mean even with 2 chamber control for 2 years GOP still had their thumbs up their asses.

I could put a mentally challenged monkey (some say we have that now) in the White House and we still would have a good functioning government if we did not have such dead weight in Congress.

Sorry, gwb, I haven't posted in the last few days, was busy having a life. Enjoying the holiday, getting out, going to eat, headed to the beach, you know. Stuff Americans do. Americans not cowering from the end of the world virus that supposedly is stalking us at every turn (but yet can't be found).

Saw this interesting snapshot on the restaurant business from Open Table you might be interested in.

Looks like Florida and Texas leading the pack. Waiting for the end of the world to arrive since both states seem to be flouting the whole social distancing thing. Please let us know when we can expect Armageddon to arrive. You've been right so far.

Spot on. The only thing I'd tell you is that, while Trump has been a major disappointment to me, he did get two conservative SCOTUS judges in place. If he did nothing else, then at least he did that.

This time around, voting for him assures Ruth's position is nailed down - because you know she isn't lasting another 4 years. Right now it's like Weekend at Bernie's with the Democrats trying to prop her up.

Personally I am not happy the process of picking judges has come downto politics and not law. To me any activist judge oversteps their bounds be they liberal or conservative unless there truly is ratioan legal reasoning.

When a decision reaches the court and you hear the judges voted 5-4 along political lines then it makes you wonder if they did any legal analysis or voted thier politics and then asked a clerk to back in the legal support for it. In my time I have read cases where I might not have agreed with the outcome but the legal reasoning was sound ahd supportable.
