Maybe more people were in the hospitality industry in Georgia. Who knows? As usual, you're trying to correlate bad data to support your narrative without any scientific or statistical process at all. Unemployment numbers being higher in Georgia suddenly means people in Georgia are distrustful of the governor, ergo they are staying inside and this means businesses aren't reopening at all and that's why the death numbers aren't even close to your prophecy of Armageddon.

I provided plenty of evidence that businesses and restaurants are not re-opening in Georgia. The simplest thing to do is to pull up a Google Maps and look at all the restaurant locations with "dine in" is marked with a red X. Yes it is the majority.

Other states have re-opened with realistic plans in proper phases for re-opening. The other states have maintained the trust of the public and businesses by providing realistic data and plans.

States need to follow the best medical & public health guidance and re-open properly. States which re-open properly will be much more economically successful than those that do not & rush the re-openings for political purposes.

Maybe, one reason they have high unemployment is small businesses are being shutdown permanently, with the Georgia economy while, opened is technically, still closed with businesses refusing to open? That is the choice of the business owners as it is their monies. In the end, the longer these business stay shutdown, the greater the chances they will go under permanently, and their employees out of jobs permanently. Who does not see that? So, if someone decides to slash their own throat, whose fault is that? Common sense dictates, a business without revenues and expenses to pay cannot survive for long. Who does not see that?
