Quote from Pension_Admin:
To the kids who are still in school, I would encourage them to go to a good university, get good grades, and try to get a good job at a financial institution. If they can get a trading job, good. If not, they will still be able to enjoy the good life and can still trade on the side.
To some extend, trading shouldn't be viewed as a career. It's tough, and there aren't many jobs out there. You could get a job at a prop firm, but if you don't have any financial support for your living expense, it could be a real pain.
However, just because you don't have a University education, it may not mean trading is not for you. If you are genuinely into trading, and you are still surviving the baptism through fire (eventhough you are burnt to the core), then I encourage you to continue on. Life would be meaningless without trading.
If it is worth it, and if it is worth it to be able to prove to everyone who doubted you, then I
think you should continue on this journey.
The Holy Grail is there. I know it in my heart. So should you.
