The question u want to ask is why these Banks, financial firms, and prop firms (LEGIT), are funding the trading rooms. I believe that this is the new and best way to recruit vs collecting resumes at the college career fair

For example, the trading room is based on sim trading. The company that funds the trading room will be able to watch how good these students before hiring them after graduation. This is a lot better than reading the resume. In fact the resume is built in the trading room paper trading, starting from freshmen to senior year.

But thankfully she has Morningstar to tell her when to sell.

Sure Bill Gates dropped out of college, so dont think college is the only education.LOL

every high school senior class should be endowed with a 10k portfolio. They can vote on how they want to trade/invest it. And their performance should be recorded for all time, and any profits should go to the school.

Most of those porfolios would blow up before graduation day, but one of them would still be alive today.

He met steve ballmer (networking). He used the school lab (similiar to trading room lab) and had helped from professors. All this happen in school and not from home like small traders.
