The other day I met a trader

Xela...

TY so much

Don't read too much into it ... it's one short test on a marketing page. The more people who take "tests" like that, the more people decide that they have Aspie tendencies ...

Lol, you're a beginner ... I got 48. :wtf: :D

Folks,

This is not easy to lay yourself wide open on an anonymous internet site for traders known as Elitetrader. You have been civil and I must say that ET has changed over the years.

ES

Baron...Thank You for all that you have been to me... and the contribution you have made to traders and the (their) trading world. Live long and healthy Baron, before I forget you and die.

I got a 35....I never knew this. I am 59 years old. I find myself forgetting stuff which actually lessens the effects...lol

ES, you've got to start taking that seriously. Change your diet, get off of sugar and take higher levels of complex carbohydrates, low animal protein and animal fat, high plant-based good fats. Read Dr Longo's book, "The Longevity Diet", Dr Gundry's book, "The Plant Paradox" and Dr Dale Bredesen's book, "The End of Alzheimers". Dr Dale Bredesen's book is the only book you will find which discusses in detail what your various blood and systemic levels should be to have excellent neural health.

You may be exhibiting first stages of neural pathway degradation, brought on by internal inflammation, glycation, oxidation and stress (the 4 pillars leading to worsening health as we age, gets our hormonal levels way out of ballance.

There is a huge study that came out within the last year which confirms that there is a direct relationship to sugar consumption (including simple carbohydrates and high protein levels which get broken into sugars) and cognitive decline as we age.

Maybe most of you will laugh this off, but then again, did YOU have to experience watching your lovely mother mentally waste away in a zombie state, bedridden, incapable of self-care for 5 years before dying? Not so funny from where I'm sitting.

I completely changed my diet (mildly ketogenic), take lots of necessary supplements which my body can no longer produce at my age and I can't get enough of from food, exercise vigorously for 4-5 hours per week. Results so far are that cognition has returned to levels not experienced since my early 20's, I read more, don't get mentally tired during the day and generally feel good EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR THE PAST 8 MONTHS. It took 2 months of the new regimen to kick in and then changes became highly noticeable.

We are all should be mentally sharp until the day we drop. You've been conditioned to think otherwise because of watching older people decline mentally. Those doctors mentioned above will tell you why that's a complete falsehood.

ES, to answer your original question, as we age, people, in general, beccome a PITA to deal with, esp. in these me me me internet generations. My wife, pets and maybe a few old friends are about all I can bear as well.

ES, my mother was absent-minded starting in her early 50's. A lot of neural damage has occurred just to arrive at that level. You have to do something about it NOW. Don't let this state continue into your 60's.

Peter Thiel appears to be more of a psychopath than someone with Aspergers Syndrome. Some of the characteristics of both overlap each other. He in true psychopathic form might just be hiding his psychopathy under the currently acceptable Aspergers umbrella.

If a psychopath wants to grow his riches and reign of control even larger it makes perfect sense that he would want to hire other young driven psychopaths. Both psychopathy and Aspergers have a spectrum.

Sometimes people with Aspergers appear to be assholes but they are not.
Psychopaths are assholes but sometimes appear to not be.

What exactly has made you conclude he is a psychopath?? That’s one hell of an accusation

SteveH,

You have got my attention.

SteveH,
Thanks for the book recommendations.

Most of my friends don't even have brokerage accounts. Most people simply don't get trading, it's a very abstract philosophical existence. A continuous fight, struggle. I equate myself to a boxer that get's punched often, my brain is like a machine, my friends say nothing effects me. I don't have feelings anymore.... Sunday night through Friday Morning.... Boxing for 200 Rounds with no break.

Thursday... I got hit with a knockout punch, lost the fight. Funny thing is I was net positive that day in my account... made money that day. The knockout punch was a MISSED trade, that I entered a limit on to fill... would have gotten filled but I was short bitcoin futures which "soaked" up all my margin (I think it is 50k per contract margin requirement on XBTC for IB)...not allowing me to enter my other trade. Not trading Bitcoin futures anymore.... didn't really trade them often anyway, so no loss. But it was a painful "loss" not making a HUGE gain in Nasdaq futures. Missing big wins, hurts than your typical loss. Maybe I do have feelings.

I spoke a little small talk and did not even tell him who I was or that I traded. It just seemed like so much work.

I go about my day with my routines and grow farther and farther away from the thought of social contact. I like animals better than people. Wifey and I live out past the suburbs and I enjoy being isolated from the city very much. I find myself going out of my way to avoid running into people. I do not have any friends.... nowadays not even any acquaintances. I feel happy and productive. I have my visions and goals and somedays I can be more creative than other days. I love to come here in ET and post with traders, but would not like to meet you in person.

Is there something wrong with me?
