The Origins of World War III

Quote from observer67:

The author of the article forgot to write about India-Pakistan War. The Taliban and Al-Qaeda are trying to start India-Pakistan War by staging Mumbai-style terror attacks. When there is India-Pakistan war the USA army will be forced to withdraw from Pakistan and this will be a major win for taliban and al-Qaeda.
They both have nuclear weapons. I sincerely hope they never use them.
The resulting conflagration would be horrible.

Why not? Because in the U.S. we don't do things because they make sense, we do them to make money. If we do something that makes sense, it is either because no one has figured out how to make money by not doing it, or it's accidental.:D

Perhaps they are waiting until we are forced to. The technology is definitely there. Remember the Pickens Plan?

that's what I don't really get... why poor countries do need an army ?

No really they can't feed their own people but they want to have an army... How stupid...

For the 1st world it's a great deal... sell them the old stuffs ( with interrests + maintenance costs, hahahah )...

I think that if a country is poor it's for a reason... the first will be stupidity and the second one will be wanting to be like the big boys :) you know bling-blingstyle... or called national pride...

The worst is that I am sure than more than 100 countries meet those both truths...

Poor countries are more likely to have their borders challenged. Poor countries are also more likely to be "client states" of a richer country and thus fight their client's wars. In return, the poor countries' elites get paid very well by their rich patron states.

A major strike in Yemen is close IMO. Both the US and Britain closed embassies and the General Patraeus is meeting with the Yemeni President.

I support it 100%. Back to 2000 with the USS Cole they hit us hard. We need to hit them back real hard. No nukes. But just level the terrorist camps all of them. Clean Somalia up too. How we let a bunch of rag tag thugs hijack our ships, pathetic.

BTW we just can't let remain GITMO detainees from Yemen go. Sorry things have changed. Their health care is better than mine anyway. :D

Consider the $ benefits of shipping insurers hiring "Somali Pirates" to hijack ships in order to jack up insurance premiums.

Dear Misthos,

I think that you are contradicting yourself... If a poor state is the client of a powerfull state it's totally safe...

I garantee you that none in the world can attack North Korea... They don't need an army... And poor countries are located close to on another... so if a poor country as a good relation with a powerfull country no worries, look what happen to Irak when they invade Koweit...

Secondly if a country is poor it will not be a prime target.... because it's poor...

That's the main point of starting market relations... it's bring peace, and security.

However if the "elite" of a poor countries buy every type of giant infrastructures ( like highway or hydropower, army ) when their people don't have tvs neither or cars... stupidity... or the reason why they are still a poor country...

You are crazy... A team of stupid dudes in a country do bad thing and all the people of the country have to pay ? Secondly the Pirates in Somalia are protecting their fishing waters... So they have the full local support of the people...

Hehe... the market will always do "links"... bads or goods that's the heart of the mens that will decide it...

observer67,

You seems to be a death lord. In all your post you find ww3 a good thing...
I hope to be wrong...
World War III is the ultimate fate of mankind. We should accept the fact of WW III.

Everybody thinks of developments but nobody thinks about destruction. When destruction is a fact of life.
