The Origins of World War III

Quote from jorgez:

thereby win the game.

it's not a game it's life... and worst not only your but to all others living being from the elephant to the mouse :)

Quote from JSSPMK:

One society=no more wars. But that is just a utopia :)

I wouldn't mind if there were no borders on this planet, one currency, one language, one religion, etc. in the end of the day we all share same origins.

The problem is that your vision is in contradiction with what the market ( the people ) demands... they want individualized product ( cars, foods, books, musics, view of the life, laws ). And furthermore it's only trough diversity of point of view that we have real wealth. By making everything a standard we all lose a part of our truth...Furthermore One society leads to one leader... that's very dangerous, if he make the wrong choice everyone is lost.
The real origin of man is a secret well garded...

Quote from indahook:

What if William Bourroughs was right?

"This is a war universe. War all the time. That is its nature. There may be other universes based on all sorts of other principles, but ours seems to be based on war and games. "

Correct. Basic nature of man is annihilation and murder.

Quote from Misthos:

And the Iranians would say it began in 1953 when the Anglo-Americans overthrew Mossadegh, a democratically elected Prime Minister and installed a dictator - the Shah of Iran.

If that never happened, I wonder what the middle east would look like today. Sure, we stopped Iran from nationalizing their oil for a couple decades... but ultimately, it is now over 80% of the world's oil that is nationalized and produced by sovereign entities.

Blowback is a bitch.

Actually it began earlier than that. The Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916 gave the Brits and the Frenchies control over the middle east oil at the time. They took the lions share of the profits through the formation of the AIOC and left shit for the Iranians, taking us up to 1953 when the CIA had their little coup. I guess it depends how far you want to go back to look for someone pissing on someone else.
A the end of the day we are a war like universe There will always be some guy, or group of guys that want what someone else has, and are willing to kill his ass to get it.

Quote from jorgez:

The purpose of a strong middle class is to manage the classes beneath them by edicts laid down by the class above them.

A weak middle class allows the lower classes with nothing to lose to enter into direct conflict with the ruling class.

The middle class is easily controlled, firstly by the granting of favors and then by the issuance of credit.

Greed naturally killed this carefully balanced game when unrestricted credit was issued to the classes with nothing to lose and so "hello 2010"

you nailed when it comes to middle class role in maintaing the elite power structure.

as long as a middle class exists there will be no change in the status quo as it effectively insulates the power structures from major violent shifts in society as the lowers classes cant get enough traction to disrupt the whole system.

see for instance the example of greece today. as the middle class has been severely burnt by the economic crisis, there are growing pockets of dissent within the greek society that are endangering the status quo.

killing will lead to more killing... why not to trade it ? (ET... ) It's easier, faster, and risk free !

Quote from dandxg:

Please think before posting that nonsense. That's what the New World Order wants.

Alas globilzation will give you what you desire.

Well, what's wrong with that? We've tried the other way for thousands of years & it has always led to conflicts. What I suggested is utopia I agree, I don't support NWO regimes forced down our throats. I am simply saying that if we were 1 society sharing 1 language, 1 religion, etc, then perhaps we would not have conflicts like the ones we had in the past.

Quote from SNBthetrue:

yeap :D I agree... so what's for you this "finish line" ?

:)

What's relevant is humanities experience on Earth.

The Elite's "finish line"? A total power monopoly, on Earth. Then, presumably, the Stars. As far as their technology can project.

There is no end goal for free humanity.

Just boundless potential and time.

The only "rules" are Free Markets, sound currency, low/no taxes, small Government, and a renewed interest in civic responsibility. IOW, Patriotism.

Quote from SNBthetrue:

it's not a game it's life... and worst not only your but to all others living being from the elephant to the mouse :)

Sadly, the beauty and glory of being alive has been reduced to game within which most people are pawns (or prawns)

But never the less, the man who dies owning the most toys wins the game.

Can you not see the sheer stupidity and absurdity within most peoples lives ... particularly amongst the wealthy
