Quote from SouthAmerica:

SouthAmerica: I wrote the following in August 2002 regarding the U.S. Constitution.
The U.S. Constitution is what makes the difference between the United States and everybody else.
The day the U.S. Constitution dies, that signals the end of the United States.

...The Constitution of the United States with its Bill of Rights served well the needs of the American people for the last 215 years. This US Constitution was one of the greatest documents in world history. I am sorry to see the American people allowing the destruction of such a great document in the name of fighting terrorism.
Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the US nation, once said: "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety". Since September 11, 2001 the US government took many measuresâincluding the US Patriot Act and the formation of the Homeland Security with its special powers, which overrule the US Constitution and The Bill of Rights. I hate to see the United States becoming a totalitarian state with the blessing of the American people.

I'm always telling Americans to quit worrying about everything and to rally around the Bill of Rights.. if you don't have your freedom you don't have much. If you have a roof over your head, 3 square meals, a society with rule of law and your freedoms, it's about as good as it needs to be...
Americans vote against the opposing party much more than they vote for anything in particular. Meanwhile the Republicans redefine freedom as something that has to be earned and they trash the constitution with their war on drugs and seizures of property without due process. Democrats want to tell us what we can and cannot say and talk about guns being a bad thing in the hands of private citizens, practice politics by winning by any means and have a death grip on the media which then disseminates pure disinformation and misinformation bought and paid for by the highest bidding, pro-socialism entities...
Intellectually, the US sucks, and that for a very fundamental reason: the food supply is devoid of a few key ingredients that are necessary for healthy brains...
But quoting Military Leaders? They are more out of touch with reality than anybody on the planet. They spend their lives creating what-if scenarios and eventually they might believe their own fantasizing..
And Gerald Celente? He's a legend in his own mind for sure, he gets on the late night radio show and makes predictions that are typically less than accurate, but hey, his book can go to the number one seller spot on Amazon overnight and stay there for about three days, enough to bank some coin.. It's funny, his money got lost by MF Global, I never heard whether he got it back or not...
And Alex Jones? Gadz.... you could give him a story about puppies, sunshine, flowers and trees and he could twist it into a conspiracy with dark overlords...
But they are essentially correct, we've seen the bubble bursting part of the Kondratieff long cycle and next is a ride right over the falls into the churning waters below.. hang on to your hats folks, it's real...
FEMA camps, martial law... other countries went into SHTF historical territory and never had anything like that... besides, when Obama came on the scene the US citizenry bought more ammo than the production lines could produce for what, two years nonstop? Instituting martial law might be just a little bit of a sticky wicket in the US of A..
