The Opening Orders Thread

Toasted and roasted on AAPL.
Yep the LOD was me.
Need to work on that stop loss.

You do know that there is not real opening for Nasdaq stocks, right? And, FWIW, none of our people would trade a stock at that high of a price on opening only orders.

Even though the naz is doing an "opening cross" of sorts, there is no single place market to allocate out the pre-market imbalances.

Just trying to help...

Good opening today 4 fills for $1500+.

LOL, you'll like this guys.

Bought AFL (2000) at 62.12, auto-retrace went in to sell 1000 at 62.18 (my standard)...filled in 2 seconds at 62.55...but here's the funny part...since I was short the other 3, I'm "thinking" that I'm short AIG as well...so I buy 1000 back at 62.56 trying to lock in balance of profits...then realize that I'm long 2000 again...got lucky sold it back at 62.60. LOL. (Must be losing it).

And...AIG was good...shoulda been better.... Sold short 2000 at 61.80...retrace 1000 at 61.74....filled immediately at 61.48 ... got greedy when I saw it print down another dime, waited a minute ended up scratching the other half.

Anyway - fair week.

Join us for our next retreat, we had fun...and the traders seemed to learn a lot.

Don, what do you mean by this? That high of a price compared to what?

Thanks for your comments. Yes, no real open for NAs stocks...I'm more trying to take advantage of the volatility of the stocks at the open.
