Feel free to use: www.stocktrading.com/Tradinginfo.htm for your daily trading information (FV, Pivots, Up/Downgrades, earnings, etc.) that all affect the opening only strategy). www.programtrading.com is very helpful as well.
In this strategy, as in many, "a liitle knowledge is dangerous" - basically, when all is said and done, we're riding the coattails of the Specialist right at the opening when gaps occur.
