The Opening Orders Thread

Aaarghh, break another of my own rules inadvertently and really got bit on the butt. AFL didn't open until 9:38, and I tell all my students to cancel all opening orders by 9:35 - AFL opens at 54.00 and proceeds up to 56.95 - fortunately I traded enough to cut $9000 loss to about $2200, but I hate to have to keep trading when I have boot campers here - I guess I set a good example of why we cancel our orders in 5 minutes. And, I didn't see earnings on my earnings list, but conference call was going on...damn earnings season.

BTW, of 22 openings with the new guys, 20 were profitable - new people do what they're asked to do, LOL.

AFL had earnings too.

Cancelling only DOW today
Using envelope of .2 for buys then manually adjusting prices & adding a layer on some stocks; using 1.5 envelope for sells.
Good luck to all

Pounded by Chase yet again. Killing what would otherwise have been a decent week.

3 fills but two were small test positions, 2 wins and one full size loser, -534, 3100 shares

Chase rebounded nicely, but had already hit my "uncle" point.

widened envelopes today...

got 7 fills up around 1800.00

i have had so much going on the last few days i really haven't kept track...

yesterday i fat fingered a trade and had to do a lot of damage control in the am....

looks like a few days off are in order...
